Hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Care
At our hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Care location, our in-house CLIA, COLA, and API certified laboratories help our physicians make quick, accurate diagnoses from lab results, most of which are available in minutes.
Lab tests include, but are not limited to:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) to evaluate for infection or anemia
- Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP) to evaluate metabolic function and electrolyte levels
- Organ Function Tests (Kidney, Liver, and Pancreas)
- Cardiac Enzymes (Troponin) to detect heart damage in conditions such as heart attack
- D-dimer to diagnose Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Urinalysis to detect kidney problems or urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Pregnancy Test
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Screen
- Molecular Influenza Screen
- Strep Throat Screen
- Blood Gas Levels to detect problems with respiration and oxygenation
- Lactate Level to diagnose sepsis in critically ill patients
- Any other labs required by our doctors will be performed at our reference lab.
Outpatient Lab Testing
Patients who have an order from their doctor for lab work can have those tests drawn at our hospital, anytime day or night. For payment, CapRock processes Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and Medicare insurance, or we offer a cash payment option for individuals who do not participate in with these providers.
