At our hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Care Facility, our in house CLIA, COLA, and API certified laboratories help our physicians make quick, accurate diagnoses from lab results, most of which are available in minutes. Patients who have an order from their doctor for lab work can have those tests drawn at our hospital, anytime day or night on a cash pay basis.
Quality imaging is critical for our medical team to provide fast, accurate diagnoses. Therefore, CapRock is proud to offer the latest technology at all our facilities. And not only is it important to provide the best imaging but also with the least impact on our patients’ health. For this reason, we use imaging technology that produces the best images at the lowest radiation exposure available.
CapRock has full CAT scan imaging capability at both our hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Care location. These scans significantly improve diagnostic capabilities by providing images of internal organs in amazing detail. Our CT scanners are some of the most advanced technology available, which allows us to get the highest quality studies with the lowest radiation exposure.
With the advantage of producing no ionizing radiation, ultrasound is the right tool for many conditions, especially for evaluating problems with early pregnancy (less than 20 weeks gestation), gallbladder disease, blood clots, etc. In the hands of our expert technicians, our advanced ultrasound produces the highest quality images. Ultrasound imaging is available for emergency or outpatient services at our Hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Care location.
At all CapRock Health facilities, our team diagnoses, treat and discharge the vast majority of our patients. However, if prolonged treatment or observation is necessary, we are able to seamlessly admit patients to our hospital in-patient facility. Furthermore, compared to most traditional hospitals, our doctors and nurses care for fewer patients at a given point in time, which results in an unequaled experience that is convenient, personal, private, and safe.
Currently, CapRock Health System facilities are not on the municipal ambulance route. So, if you dial 911, you will not automatically be taken to a CapRock Health System facility. However, if you are being transported by a municipal ambulance service, you may request to be taken to a CapRock Health System facility. It is then at the discretion of the ambulance team to determine if one of our facilities is appropriate for you.
At CapRock Hospital, we administer Ketamine infusion in our safe and tranquil environment.
