WAYNE BRUNER, JR., MD
PHYSICIAN
Dr. Bruner has been board certified in emergency medicine since 2008 and has worked in both large and small-volume, traditional hospital-based emergency departments as well as free-standing emergency depts.
Dr. Bruner completed his residency in emergency medicine at Scott and White in Temple, Texas in 2007.
In 2000, Dr. Bruner graduated cum laude with a BS in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Bruner attended medical school at the Univerisity of South Florida from 2000-2004.
Dr. Bruner is the son of a Navy submariner and an ER Nurse, and as such, has lived in many states in the Southeastern US (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina). He also heard many interesting ER stories over the dinner table while growing up. Dr. Bruner attended residency in Temple, Texas, married a Texas girl, and is a member of First Baptist Church in Bryan. He and his wife Rhonda have been married for 13 years and have three sons. In his spare time, Dr. Bruner enjoys reading, weight-lifting, coaching little league baseball and archery hunting.
