PHYSICIAN
Originally from Odessa, Texas, Dr. John Pinkstaff is an Attending Physician at CapRock Health. Dr. Pinkstaff previously served as Medical Director for First Choice ER and was a physician at the College Station Medical Center.
Dr. Pinkstaff completed his Emergency Medicine Residency Training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he served as the Chief Resident.
Prior to his residency training, Dr. Pinkstaff attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Pinkstaff is also a proud graduate of the Texas A&M University Class of 2000, with a degree in Biomedical Sciences.
When Dr. Pinkstaff is not treating patients at CapRock, he loves spending any chance he can with his wife and six-month-old son. Outside of family, he enjoys anything that keeps him active, especially wakeboarding, CrossFit, basketball, mountain biking, snow skiing, scuba diving, traveling, and always attending Texas Aggie sporting events.
