A few weeks ago CapRock Emergency posted about some new faces joining our team. Below are some highlights from our new staff!

Doc5

JD Cochran

MD- Board Certified Emergency Medicine

Dr. Cochran attended medical school at the University of Nevada and completed ER residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center Scott and White Hospital in Temple. He has since worked in many trauma centers and community hospitals. Dr. Cochran and his family moved to Bryan/College Station to work with the excellent staff at CapRock Emergency and raise his kids in this wonderful community.

In his free time, Dr. Cochran enjoys spending time with his wife, Hayley, and 5 sons. He enjoys coaching and watching his sons play baseball and compete in gymnastics. As a family, they enjoy trips to the beach, Texas Rangers baseball, live music, good BBQ and Tex-Mex, traveling and country dancing.

“I am thrilled to be at CapRock ER. Working alongside our amazing team, I feel like we are able to take care of patients in the way we would want our own families cared for.”

Nicole De Mocskonyi

Front Office Manager

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and moved to College Station in 2012 to begin school at Texas A&M with the aspirations of beginning a career in healthcare. During my time at A&M, I was able to lend a hand in the beginnings of CapRock Emergency while enrolled full time in school. While working at CapRock I was nominated for the Student Employee of the Year Award at Texas A&M. After graduation in May 2016 with my B.S. in Health and minor in Business, I accepted the Front Office Manager Position at CapRock Emergency. I recently tied the knot to my wonderful husband, Alex. Here at CapRock, my primary roles include facilitating communication between patients and billing and making our patients feel like they are family!

“I enjoy being able to help make each patient’s emergency room experience the best possible from the moment they walk in the door!”

Mo Rugh

ER Tech/Lab Manager

My name is Mo and I am from Odessa, Texas. I moved to Bryan/College Station in 2010 to pursue my B.S. in Animal Science. I began working full-time as a veterinary technician at the TAMU VMTH Small Animal ER in 2014 and decided that I really enjoyed Emergency Medicine and would like to transition to a career in a human ER.

I began my career at CapRock Emergency at the front desk in October 2015. After about 7 months, I worked my way up to the ER Tech/Lab Manager position and I love it! I plan on eventually becoming either a PA or a NP but am in no hurry to figure out which because CapRock is a wonderful place to work. After a good day of helping out at CapRock, I go home to my wonderful husband, Michael, and my five goofy pets. I love reading, hiking, board games, and sci-fi movies.

“My favorite thing about CapRock Emergency is getting to treat patients like I would my own family!”
